Hey guys, working hard here! I know you all got the impression that Nightmare House 2 will be out before 2010 but I doubt that will happen. Let me assure you, Nightmare House is close to be done, and I’m going to polish it as much as I can before giving it to the rest of the world.
So for now I’d say the release date is Q1 2010.
Now for a bit of media update! This will probably be one of the last before Nightmare House 2 will come out.
(Note – these screenshots are not final, and I am still working on adding more visual elements such as fog, color correction, lighting, and so on to make the final version of the maps look A LOT creepier.)
As you can see I’ve decided to show a bit more then just areas, without spoiling anything too much, I hope. That’s it for now.
PS- If you guys have any question, want to follow the progress from a closer perspective, or just talk with me you can visit the “Nightmare House 2 progress thread”.
PPS – A lot of people are asking me what are the game’s requirements, although I said it a lot, Nightmare House will require Half-Life 2: Episode 2 only, and will come with a remake of the remake that doesn’t require Counter Strike: Source.
PPPS – New website coming soon.

Heya. Nice new blog theme around! Hen here, and I wanna get you guys up to date with NH2.
Been in development for hella long, lately it feels like things are finally catching up. I will say it again: Nightmare House 2 is not dead. In fact, it’s more alive than ever.
I thought about it, and I figured pictures talk best. So there you have it, some fresh screenshots from the latest:
Unfortunately I can’t promise aloud a date just yet, but I can assure you it is gonna be worth the wait.
You can expect more media soon. One more thing – NH2.WCS’s blog is a little outdated, but will be linked with this one soon, so worry not.

Echoes is going great. But there’s still work to be done… So meanwhile, we got a bunch of sketches and colorful artwork to show off!
The following sketches are by Susanna W, who joined our team to help us with the character art. Tracing’s done by Axel Hammarback, who’s also our extremely talented animator as shown in the last post. All the artwork follows the awesome storyline of Echoes written by Paul Komenza.

- Echoes artwork: Lt. Richard Parker and Synderion

- Echoes artwork: Cptn. John Miller and Dr. Daniel Hunter
See you soon.

Heya!
I’ve got some cool news for you today. For the past few months now we’ve been working on a new title, Echoes. It’s a Flash strategy – shooter game, in a futuristic war theme, and I can’t wait to show you some pics.

Isn’t that one awesome logo. Wait ’till you see the following characters. Axel Hammarback is the one responsible for their sharp looks – He’s the lead art & animation on Echoes:

Snap, awesomeness!
Last, I forgot to update about it. Portal: Still Alive is out and available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 points ($15). It includes ALL of the original Portal game, plus a number of new challenges (That’s where we come in. Go Hen!), and new twelve achievements. Seven-hundred megabytes of win.
I’ll keep you guys posted.

One afternoon, my friend Erez (aka fullmetalboy) said to me over Steam that our website doesn’t show any press and media about our spread. So eventually I thought he had a point, so here’s a post about it. I didn’t wanna go too far with it, so I thought just a blog post would do.
So first, lemme mention a nice interview we had with Jesse from GameCyte just a couple of days ago. So here’s a link
Last Thursday I was at the presidential conference Facing Tomorrow 2008, with some guys from Startup Seeds. I was pretty much the only game developer on there, but it was indeed interesting and fun. Here I am, talking about PTFV (taken by Segev Shilton):

And since we’re going backwards on time here, this one’s from about a month ago. This is from GameIS 2008. We were invited as game developers, and also they gave me a couple of minutes as a speaker on the independent game development panel.
Funny story, for those of you who don’t know – I know Hen for more than 4 years, and that was the first time I actually saw him. So we first met only after making a 5 million games played Flash game, as ‘known’ game developers. Our requirements are quite high, hah!
So it was cool indeed. The true awesomeness though, was at the end of the event, when we won a game developer award – myeah!

Anyway, we met some awesome people on there!
The rest of the stuff are either in Hebrew or too intense for you kids.
